Hello, I am Steve Reddy, a Seacoast New Hampshire Based Spiritual Care Specialist.
Spiritual care can take many forms and directions, it is time spent on the sacred ground of your soul with another person who is able to deeply listen, and be present to both you and the divine. I have been trained to hold space for your story, your emotions, and your experience (or lack thereof) with the divine. In working with me, you may simply find a much-needed listening ear for all things related to your spiritual life. You may also explore pieces of your story that have left you feeling “stuck” for a long time. Your entire self is welcome in our sessions, your soul, your relationships, and deep emotions may come into the process just as much as the things we might usually think of as “spiritual”.
Helping clients in and around the New Hampshire Seacoast explore the disparity between where they are now and where they want to be with their desired goals in life is my passion. I have four major areas of service and specialization: spiritual direction, spiritual care conversations, grief educator, and death doula.
I provide empathic listening, compassionate presence, and nonjudgmental support to my clients. I subscribe to the core values of trust, respect, empathy, warmth, and genuineness, which have been shown to elicit insight, healing, change, and growth in clients. I am integrative in style and I tailor each spiritual care relationship to the unique situations and needs of clients. With the informed consent of clients, I integrate spirituality, faith, and the sacred into my practice. I work with clients to address a variety of issues, including grief and loss, coping skills, life transitions, chronic illness, spiritual distress, and bereavement. The saying goes that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I encourage you to take that step today. Your journey is important to me!
I am also an officiant and perform weddings, memorial services, baptisms, blessings, and benedictions of all kinds. I will travel beyond the immediate Seacoast New Hampshire area. I am a big believer in collaboration, what can we create together?
